PaperRight is a manual budgeting tool. It's based on 50/30/20 principles. We keep it super simple and centered on just 4 metrics - your daily burn rate and your needs, wants, and savings buckets.
I built PaperRight.xyz because I had tried a lot of things: AI-assisted apps, spreadsheets, gamified savings tools.
They didn't really stick for me. They were either too rigid, or too automated, or too much.
So I built PaperRight to get my paper right.
It's not smart or AI driven. It's not trying to predict your future, sell you credit cards, or serve you Intuit TurboTax ads. It's just a few simple metrics and a couple graphs. That's all I really want it to be - and I don't plan to add anything more. It's like the craiglist of budgeting - simple and just good enough for the job.
